Two Swiss clubs, Kreuzlingen and Carouge, are the winners of Day 2 of the LEN Challenger Cup qualifications.
Both teams collected six points today. Kreuzlingen became the first team to qualify for the quarterfinals.

Group A (Porto, Portugal)
Kreuzlingen – Triglav Kranj 10:9 (2:2, 4:2, 2:2, 2:3)
Clube Fluvial Portuense – Apoel Nicosia 11:8 (2:1, 5:4, 2:2, 2:1)
Triglav Kranj – Vitoria Sport Clube 10:8 (1:0, 2:4, 3:2, 4:2)
Clube Fluvial Portuense – Kreuzlingen 8:21 (1:5, 2:4, 3:7, 2:5)
After yesterday’s very important win over Vitoria, Kreuzlingen calmed another crucial victory today, narrowly beating Triglav. The Swiss easily beat host Fluvial in the evening session and mathematically qualified for the quarterfinals and secured the top spot in the group. In the last round, Kreuzlingen will play against bottom-placed Apoel.

Group B (Mouscron, Belgium)
Banja Luka – City of Manchester 7:23 (2:7, 2:9, 2:5, 1:2)
Carouge Natation – ODTU Sport Club 20:9 (4:3, 6:1, 4:2, 6:3)
Carouge Natation – Banja Luka 20:7 (7:0, 5:3, 3:1, 5:3)
Royal Dauphins Mouscronnois – ODTU Sport Club 20:7 (8:2, 3:2, 6:2, 3:1)
Carouge Natation opened its participation in the LEN Challenger Cup with two convincing wins. The Swiss share 1st place with host Royal Dauphines. The Belgians, who defeated Manchester yesterday, were far better than ODTU Sport Club in the third round.

Group C (Istanbul)
Polytechnic WP – KVP Novaky 8:11 (2:1, 2:4, 1:1, 3:5)
Galarasaray – Sporting Clube de Portugal 27:6 (8:0, 8:2, 5:1, 6:3)
KVP Novaky defeated Polytehncic, thanks to a very good finish. Galatasaray cruised to a win over Sporting, as expected.
Standings: 1. Galatasaray (TUR) 3 (1), 2. KVP Novaky 3 (1), 3. Polytechnic (GBR) 0 (1), 4. Sporting (POR) 0 (1).
Group D (Valetta, Malta)
Enka Sport Club – KVT Komodor 25:3 (7:0, 8:1, 5:0, 5:2)
Valletta – EVK Zaibas 11:15 (3:7, 3:0,1:5, 4:3)
Lithuanian champion EVK Zaibas earned very valuable points by defeating the national team of Malta, which entered the Challenger Cup under the name of Valletta WPC.
