Greece defeated Serbia convincingly, 13:6 (2:1, 1:2, 5:1, 5:2), in a friendly game in Athens. It was the first official match for both teams in their preparations for the European Championships.
Each side scored three goals apiece in the first half. An even contest continued until the middle of the third period, when the score was 4:4. However, Greece went on a 9:2 run over the final 12 minutes and recorded a commanding win.
Konstantinos Genidionias and Stylianos Argyropoulos contributed four goals to the 13:6 win. Chalyvopoulos added three, while Gkillas and Kalogeropoulos netted one each.
