Nikolas Moskov, one of the strongest Montenegrin players, agreed to renew his contract. He will wear Apollo Smyrnis cap for another season, reports Aquafeed24.
After the incredibly good year that brought him to the top list of best scorers during the regular championship, the young Montenegrin decided to stay in Apollo. He will continue to play for Yannis Katrouzanakis’s team, even though he had some hard-to-resist offers.
Water polo clubs from Italy and Greece (for example PAOK), tried to convince him to change his environment a bit and play for them.
The official announcement says:
“GP Apollon Smyrnis announces the extension of the cooperation with the first scorer of the championship — Nikola Moskov, who will continue to compete wearing the blue cap of Apollo Smyrnis for another year!
“After a stunning year, both individually and in the team, despite the fact that Nikolas received tempting offers from many teams inside and outside of Greece, he will stay in Apollo family. This proves the team’s dynamics since the very first presence in the A1 National category.”
