The hosts doubled their advantage after the middle break (6:4, 7:5). But, Honved retook control. Led by Norbert Hosnyanszky and Sebastian Hessels, Honved produced a 3:0 run and entered the final quarter leading 8:7.

Selley Rauscher leveled at 8:8 in the 26th minute. However, it turned out that it was Vasas’ last goal. Honved found the net three times in the last six minutes. Bengeduz Ekler and Sebastian Hessels gave Honved a 2-goal lead with two quick power play goals (10:8). The visitors’ defense, commanded by Attila Decker, did its job excellently in the final quarter. and Honved was keeping the advantage. Honved earned a penalty shot with 57 seconds remaining on the clock. Veteran Norbert Hosnyanszky sent the ball into the net from the 5m line and sank Vasas’ last hope – 11:8.

Ferencvaros, which is still without goalkeeper Vogel, Jansik and Damonte, easily beat UVSE (12:5). The reigning champion dominated from the beginning and had a 9:1 lead in the 22nd minute. UVSE narrowed the gap in the last ten minutes but didn’t avoid a convincing defeat.

OSC cruised to a victory against Kaposvar. At halftime, the home side led 8:3 and doubled its advantage in the following 16 minutes (17:7).

However, the visitors reduced the gap to one (7:8) just 18 seconds before the end. There was not enough time for an equalizer.

BVSC was very close to a victory over Miskolc, but the match ended in a 10:10 draw. BVSC had a 3-goal advantage with 03:43 minutes to go(9:6). However, Miskolc scored three goals in less than two minutes and caught up with the hosts (9:9). Immediately after the equalizer, Gyarfas put BVSC in front again (10:9). But, just three seconds before the buzzer, the same player committed a penalty foul. Varkonyi made no mistake from the 5m line and Miskolc earned a point – 10:10
