Most of the national championships in Europe still hasn’t started. But in Hungary, three rounds were already completed.
On Day 3 of the national championships, Ferencvaros, OSC, Miskolc, Eger recorded convincing wins. Szolnok defeated UVSE harder than it was expected, while two matches in Group B (Honved – Szentes and BVSC – Vasas) offered a lot of thrills.

Titleholder Ferencvaros found demolished Tatabanya (21:9). Even ten of Fradi’s players found the net. The top scorers were Aaron Younger, Bence Szabo and Gergo Zalnaki (three goals each).
Szolnok collected three points in a match against UVSE, but the former European champion secured the win in the last eight minutes. UVSE didn’t surrender easily. The sides were tied at 4:4 less than two minutes before the last break. Szolnok than found its play, scored five unanswered goals to earn a 9:4 lead and it was clear who would be the winner.
Miskolc, led by Ognjen Stojanovic, had no problems beating Szeged (16:8).
PVSK was the only visiting team that took points in on Day 3. The Pecs-based team visited Debrecen. Home team DVSE Debrecen opened the match with a 2:0 advantage. PVSK answered with 4 straight goals for 4:2. Debrecen managed to equalize early in the third quarter (6:6). After that, PVSK gained a new 2-goal advantage (8:6) which was decisive for the outcome.

OSC and Honved continued their winning streaks. OSC, playing without Andrija Prlainovic, beat AVUS easily (19:7), while Honved edged out Szentes.
The encounter between Szentes and Honved turned into a thriller. There were a lot of twists and turns, both teams were leading, but before the last period, nobody had an advantage. The score was 5:5. Honved took a new lead, by a goal from Roland Simon, but Voros equalized shortly after that. The winner was decided with a last-gasp goal. Alexander Kardos found the net 11 seconds from the end, for Honved’s 7:6 victory.
The Budapest-derby BVSC – Vasas also was a very balanced match, and the teams were tied (9:9) after the third period. BVSC earned an 11:9 advantage in the 29th minute. Vasas cut the deficit in the remaining time, but it couldn’t level the score, and BVSC celebrated a narrow 11:10 win.
