For the seventh year in a row, Waspo98 Hannover and Spandau 04 will play in the final of the German Championships.

A week ago, it could be foreseen that this year’s final would be a new clash between the two German representatives in the Champions League. Waspo Hannover secured its spot a week ago, beating ASC Duisburg in the first two semifinal games.

Spandau was on a good way to the final after a 25:6 away victory over White Sharks Hannover. The Berliners weren’t so convincing on their field, but they cruised to the final with a 15:6 victory in the second game.
