The encounter between Ortigia and Pro Recco was in the spotlight this weekend in the Italian water polo league, not just because it was the clash between the league-leader and the team which was in 3rd place before 12th round. The match Ortigia – Pro Recco was the first in which Pro Recco’s legendary goalkeeper Stefano Tempesti played against his former club, after 16 seasons spent in Recco. Tempesti, who won 14 national titles and five Champions League with Pro Recco, moved to Ortigia last summer. But, his former team-mates had no mercy. Recco recorded an 18:12 victory.
