The other three foreigners are Aaron Younger, Ben Hallock, and Gergo Zalanki. The latter didn’t play in Catania. Di Fulvio, Presciutti, Fondelli missed the match, too. The visitors, led by Giacomo Cannella, earned a 4:0 and a 6:1 lead in the second quarter. They showed they wouldn’t let a surprise happen.
Brescia’s defense wasn’t as good as in most of the matches this season. Still, the 2nd-best Italian club recorded the biggest win of the day, beating Posillipo by ten goals (19:9). Brescia made the crucial difference in the first half (10:3). The hosts’ defense weakened in the second half, but they increased the margin to 10.

This season, the good defensive play hasn’t been Telimar’s characteristic. The Palermo-based side conceded 11 goals today, but the attack worked well, as usual. Telimar defeated Anzio 17:11. Telimar earned a 6:3 advantage in the first 16 minutes. Anzio attempted to come back. It reduced the gap to two in the third quarter three times.
