Italy and Montenegro concluded 2025 with a friendly match in Naples.
The Italians defeated the visiting team by three goals, 15:12 (3:2, 5:2, 4:4, 3:4)
The teams traded goals until 2:2. Between the 7th and 15th minutes, they kept Montenegro goalless while scoring five times, earning a huge 7:2 lead. The third quarter was balanced, but Italy opened the fourth quarter with a 3:0 run and jumped to 15:8. The Montenegrins avoided a big loss with four unanswered goals in the final five minutes.
Matteo Iocchi Gratta led Italy with five goals. Del Basso, Ferrerro and Bruni added two each. Cassia, Alesiani, Di Somma, and Balzarini contributed one goal each. Aljosa Macic scored three goals for Montenegro. Besides him, Popadic (2), Janovic Vuckovic, Petkovic, Spaic, Matkovic, V. Radovic and Gojkovic found the net.
