Jadran’s defense was far from its best in the game against Primorje. However, the attack was up to the task, so the Split-based team controlled the match even though it conceded 14 goals. Primorje led 1:0 and 2:1. Jadran scored three goals in two and a half minutes and earned a 4:2 lead. After that, the hosts were always in front. By the end of the first half, Jadran built an 11:5 lead. Primorje scored nine goals in the second half, but the difference was never smaller than five.
In the next round, Jadran and Jug will face off in Split. That match will probably answer on the question, “Who will enter the playoffs from 1st place?”. The encounter between these two teams in the first half of the season, played in Dubrovnik, ended in a 10:10 draw. This season, Jug beat Jadran three times in neutral fields – in the Super Cup, in the final of the Croatian Cup, and the Regional League. Jadran is seeking revenge in front of its fans.
