Jadran defeated Primrorje 14:6 in the first match in Split. The favorite didn’t leave any chance to Primorje in the second duel either.
Jadran had a 5:1 lead after the first eight minutes in Split. The second game started similarly. Jadran had a 5:1 advantage in the 7th minute. Both sides scored a goal apiece in the last minute of the first period, and Jadran entered the second quarter leading 6:2. Nothing changed after the first break. Primorje’s defense couldn’t find the solution to stop Jadran’s attackers, headed by Jerko Marinic Kragic. A young goalkeeper Dipic was between Primorje’s posts (he replaced the injured first-pick goalie Cubranic)
The visitors, who played without captain Andjelo Setka, built an 11-goal lead (15:4) before the final break. In the last quarter, when everything had been already decided, Jadran’s defense weakened and Primorje avoided a bigger defeat.
Jadran, which finished in 1st place in the regular season, will be the host in the first, third match, and in the fifth game (if played)
