Jug and Jadran Split are coming closer and closer to the finals of the playoffs of the Croatian League.
The favorites for the title recorded convincing wins in the first matches of the semifinals.

Mladost couldn’t repeat a surprising performance and an 18:12 victory over Jug achieved in the Regional League in Dubrovnik. This time, Jug ruled the field from the first whistle. After less than three minutes, Jug led 3:0. It stood 5:1 at the first break. By the end of the first half, the hosts stretched the margin to six (8:2). Early in the third quarter, Marko Zuvela made it 9:2. Mladost reduced the gap to four twice (5:9 and 6:10), but Jug closed the game with three unanswered goals and regained a 7-goal advantage (13:6).
The encounter between Jadran and Primorje was similar to the duel Jug – Mladost, and the score was almost identical. A good opening put the favorite on the right track. With an outstanding Jerko Marinic Kragic, Jadran had a 6:1 lead in the 9th minute. Primorje replied with two goals to come relatively close (3:6). But Jadran’s response was a 3:0 rush. The hosts went to 9:3 early in the third, and there was no way back for Primorje.
