Jug and Mladost advanced to the semifinals of the Croatian Championship playoffs with ease. A big surprise happened in Montenegro. Cattaro defeated Primorac in the 2nd match of the semifinals of the playoffs.
Radnicki defeated Crvena Zvezda in the derby of round 16 of the Serbian League.

Cattaro didn’t win a single point in the regular season. Primorac beat its Kotor-based rival convincingly in the 1st match of the semifinals (15:6). Because of that, few could predict a surprising result in the second match. But a big surprise happened.
Primorac opened the match as expected. The former European champion earned an early 2:0 lead, while it went 3:0 up in the 9th minute. But, Cattaro started climbing back and reduced the gap a few times (2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 5:6,6:7). Primorac re-built a 3-goal lead in the 22nd minute (9:6). Still, the favorite couldn’t score a goal in the last ten minutes, while Cattaro produced a series 3:0 and equalized (9:9) with 03:15 to go. There were no goals in the remaining time, and the match entered the penalty shootout. Cattaro’s goalkeeper Vasilije Marinkovic was a hero of the shootout. He saved three shots, and that proved decisive for a 12:11 victory.
The third match will be played on Saturday.
Jadran Herceg Novi made no mistake. The titleholder convincingly defeated Budva in the second match – 11:6 and advanced to the final (Jadran recorded a 15:8 victory in 1st game). Today, Jadran killed all suspense quickly in the second match. Less than two minutes passed, and Jadran already had a 3:0 advantage. Early in the third quarter, Jadran jumped to a 6:1 lead and maintained a 5-goal difference until the final buzzer. Filip Gardasevic was the top scorer of the match with three goals.

Both encounters between POSK and Jug were played in Dubrovnik. In the first match, Jug demolished the team from Split, with four goals by Marko Zuvela. The 2nd match was held a day later. A few of Jug’s key players missed the game, but the titleholder recorded another convincing victory. A 16-year-old Patrik Kolak was the best scorer (3 goals).
Mladost also played without a few experienced players in the 2nd match against Medvescak. Marin Dasic led the hosts with 6 goals to a 22:6 win.
Mladost will play against the winner of the duel Jadran S – Primorje, while Jug will face Primorje or Solaris in the semifinals.

The 16th round of the Serbian League was completed with a derby duel between the Regional League winner Radnicki and the Serbian Cup winner Crvena Zvezda.
Radnicki led throughout the match. The visitors earned a 2-goal advantage (3:1 and 4:2) in the first quarter. They doubled the difference in the middle of the second period (7:3). The visitors entered the second half leading 9:4 and didn’t let Crvena Zvezda come back. The best scorers were Strahinja Rasovic and Nikola Lukic (5 goals each). Ivan Basara scored three for Crvena Zvezda.
Sabac defeated Zemun in the first match of round 17.
