Crvena Zvezda leveled before the first break, but Apollon regained a 3-goal lead deep into the third quarter (7:4). The Red Whites responded with five goals in a row, and turned around a deficit to a 9:7 lead. Apollon’s Solanakis scored for 8:9 (27th minute). However, the Greeks couldn’t equalize.
