Four matches have been played in the morning session of Day 2 of the Euro League Qualification Tournaments.
Favorites made no mistake. Olympiacos, Dynamo, and Kinef recorded convincing wins. Olympiacos came near to the quarterfinals.

Dynamo Uralochka made a flying start in Budapest. The Russians blew away Sant Andreu in their first match at the tournament.

Mataro collected its first points in Verona. The Spaniards, led by Anni Espar, opened the game with a 3:0 lead. Ferencvaros was trying to come back. The Hungarian side cut the deficit twice during the second quarter (3:4, 4:5), but Mataro controlled the match and recorded a 4-goal win.
Kinef Kirishi defeated Mataro in yesterday’s derby (10:8), and today achieved another win over a Spanish opponent. Mediterrani kept up with the favorites for a quarter and a half. Kinef led from the beginning, but Mediterrani managed to equalize three times (3:3, 4:4, 5:5). But, from the middle of the second quarter, Kinef started to dominate. The Russians produced an 8:1 rush. In the 23rd minute, they earned a 13:6 advantage and secured three points.

After beating Plebiscito yesterday (10:7), Greek champion Olympiacos cruised to a win over BVSC. The Hungarian club scored an opening goal, after just 24 seconds of play. But, Olympiacos responded with seven consecutive goals and jumped to a 7:1 lead. BVSC scored its second goal in the 16th minute. However, the Hungarians didn’t recover from a shocking 0:7 series.
Olympiacos has a chance to secure 1st place after just two days of the tournament. The Greeks’ last game will be the match against SIS Roma this evening (since Olympic Nice has been disqualified). If they win, they will cement 1st position. A point will be enough for Olympiacos to secure at least 2nd place and qualify for the quarterfinals.
