Hungary won the gold medal at the U15 Montenegro Cup, held in Budva.
Six teams took part in the tournament.
Serbia finished in 2nd place. Montenegro won the bronze medal. They are followed by Croatia (4th), Italy (5th), and Germany (6th).
All six teams have been preparing for the Men’s European U15 Championship, which will be held in Portugal in early July (4-11).

Hungary secured 1st place before the last round, thanks to four consecutive wins – over Germany (23:7), Italy (13:6), Serbia (16:6), and Croatia (11:8).
After the 4th round, Croatia held 2nd place with 7 points, ahead of Serbia (6 pts), Montenegro (5 pts), Italy (2 pts) and Germany (1).
Croatia and Germany shared the points in the first game of today’s schedule (12:12). The draw endangered Croatia’s 2nd place.
In the next match, Serbia ran over Italy. The Serbs achieved the second-biggest win at the tournament (16:3) and climbed to 2nd place.
The tournament was closed by an encounter between host Montenegro and Hungary. The home team defeated the leader (10:7) and grabbed the bronze medal, while Croatia dropped to 4th place. The two teams finished the tournament with 8 points each. Since their encounter was ended in an 11:11 draw, the goal-difference decided 3rd and 4th place. Montenegro is better by this criterion (Montenegro + 8, Croatia + 2) and took the bronze.
