Favorites have recorded convincing wins in the matches of the Croatian and the Montenegrin leagues played this week.
Jadran Split kept a perfect record in the Croatian League. Jadran Herceg Novi recorded four wins in as many matches in the Montenegrin Championships.

Both matches of the 2nd round in the playoffs group were played in Split, producing expected outcomes.
First, Mladost defeated Mornar. At the end of the game, four goals separated the rivals, but everything was decided in the early stage of the game. Mladost led 6:0 in the 10th minute and maintained a 6-goal difference until the middle break. Mornar reduced the gap to three goals (7:10, 8:11, 10:13, 11:14), but the hosts didn’t endanger Mladost’s victory. Dario Rakovac scored five goals for the winning team. Marin Dasic contributed to the win with three. Mornar’s Marin Vrdoljak netted four goals.
Jadran didn’t need a lot of time to prove which team the favorite was in the second match. After the first eight minutes, the Croatian Cup winner led 7:1. At halftime, it stood 13:4. The hosts stretched the margin to 12 before the final quarter, and slowed after that. Solaris’ defense couldn’t find a solution how to stop Jerko Marinic Kragic, who scored seven goals. Marin Delic added three.

Zadar and Medvescak shared the points in a thriller. Zadar secured a draw with a last-gasp goal scored six seconds before the final buzzer.
A player of the Slovakian national team Maros Tkac found the net eight times to lead Primorje to a convincing win over POSK.

Title-holder Jadran Herceg Novi continued its winning streak beating Budva easily with five goals from Danilo Radovic and three from Jake Muscat.
The local derby between the Kotor-based rivals Cattaro and Primorac lacked excitement. Primorac cruised to a 10:4 win. Three players scored two goals in this match – Dusan Matkovic, Djordjije Stanojevic (Primorac) and Marko Milic (Cattaro).

2021/22 Serbian League
Following FINA’s decision on the World Championships in Budapest and rescheduling the matches Champions League, the Serbian Federation changed the calendar. The 4th round of the Playoffs group has been moved to February 16, when the 2nd round of the Relegation Group will be played.
The regular season finishes on March 12 (the 5th round in the Playoffs and the 3rd of the Relegation group).
