Barceloneta demolished Mataro before a trip to Athens where it will face Olympiacos in the Champions League (Tuesday). Felipe Perrone scored four goals in a 15:4 victory.
Barcelona follows Barceloneta. The 2nd-placed team visited Madrid and beat Real Canoe with four goals from Lucas Duric.
Sabadell defeated Sant Andreu, which played well in the first half. Before the third period, Sabadell had a 5:3 advantage, but it stormed past Sant Andreu in the second half (9:1) for a comfortable 14:4 win.
Terrassa recorded a convincing win over Mediterrani.
Tenerife Echeyde earned three points against Catalunya in Barcelona. The team from the Canary Islands was very convincing. Tenerife started excellently (6:0 in the 18th minute) and there was no way back for the Catalans.
Navarra took the first point in the season with a 7:7 draw in the game against Rubi. Navarra was closer to a win as it led 7:6 before the final period. In the middle of the last period, Rubi scored the last goal in the game and secured a point.
