The second day of the 2nd Nordic League brought plenty of action. Eight games were played today. Without any doubt, the match of the day was the clash between Jarfalla (Sweden) and LSTW Lodz (Poland) in Group A. After a lot of excitements LSTW edged out Jarfalla, the winner of the 1st Nordic League, by a goal (10:9).

Jarfalla (Sweden), the reigning champion of the Nordic League, and LSTW Lodz (Poland), one of the debutants, fought a hard battle from the first whistle until the last second. At halftime, the Polish team had a slim 5:4 lead. Quickly after the middle break, Jarrfalla equalised – 5:5. LSTW went 7:5 up, but with two goals in the last 71 seconds of this period, the Swedish levelled the score once more – 7:7. They equalised again in the fourth period (8:8), but they couldn’t go further. LSTW earned a 10:8 lead in the middle of the last quarter. Jarfalla managed just to reduce the gap (9:10). The Swedish had the last possession, but the Polish kept the win.
In the evening session, LSTW met SPIF Stockholm. The spectators watched another interesting game, The Polish were ahead for most of the time, while secured a win two and a half minutes from the end, when they built a safe 13:9 lead. In the remaining time, SKIF cut the deficit and LSTW won 14:12

After two days of the tournament in Vilnius, only home team VMSC Baltic Amadeus is still undefeated. VMSC defeated Kuopion Uimeseaura yesterday (16:4). The Lithuanians didn’t have a match in today’s morning schedule, while they faced Hellas SK in the evening session. VMSC dominated from the beginning and it built a 10-goal gap (13:3) in the 23rd minute. One of the Hellas’s players was sent off because of a brutality foul 21 seconds before the end of the third period. After that, Hellas left the field and refuse to continue the match. A referee finished the match.
Other games in Vilnius offered a flood of goals. Cetus Espoo and Turun Uimarit collected first points in the season, by defeating the third Finnish team Kuopion, the newcomer in the League.
