There have been a lot of games in Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro this week. Jug (Croatia), Novi Beograd 011 (Serbia), Primorac (Montenegro) keep 1st places in their respective leagues. Crvena Zvezda defeated reigning champion Sabac in the Serbian derby.
The season in Slovenia has started with the national cup.

After a successful start in the Champions League, Jug had an easy task in the national league. The Dubrovnik-based team hosted the last-placed Zadar 1952. The title-holder played with a rejuvenated squad, without a few stars. The young players didn’t disappoint head coach Vjekoslav Kobescak. All 11 field players managed to score in this game.
Mladost played two matches this week, and recorded two convincing wins, against Galeb Makarska and Medevscak.
In the last game of the 8th round, Jadran Split defeated KPK Korcula. The hosts kept up with the favorites in the first half, but Jadran broke the rival in the third period.

Crvena Zvezda defeated title-holder Sabac in the derby of Day 8. The visitors had an 8:6 lead early in the third period. But, Sabac managed to score just one goal in the remaining time, while Zvezda found the net six times and celebrated a 12:9 win. Centre-forward Milos Vukicevic and Veljko Tankosic scored three goals each for the winners. Red Star climbed to 3rd place, ahead of Sabac.
Novi Beograd 011 kept the top position with an easy win over Partizan. Olympic champion Milos Cuk recovered from an injury and returned to the team of Novi Beograd. He scored three goals.

The second quarter of the Montenegrin League has started this week. Jadran Herceg Novi, the reigning champion, played in the Champions League from Tuesday to Thursday, so their matches have been postponed.

Calcit Kamnik won the Slovenian Cup for the season 2020/21. The final game was played in Kranj this evening. Calcit defeated home team Triglav 10:5. The visitors built a 5-goal lead by the middle break (7:2), and that proved crucial for the final score.
In the semifinals, Calcit was better than Ljubljana Slovan, while Triglav beat Koper.
