Olympiacos beat Vouliagmeni 15:8 in the big Greek derby in the last round of the regular season. The βRed Whitesβ finished the league unbeaten and will enter the playoffs from 1st place.

Olympiacos and Vouliagmeni faced off for the fifth time this season. Olympiacos won both games in the Champions League, one in the Greek Cup, while the first encounter between the best Greek team in the national championships ended in a draw. In the 22nd round of the Greek League there was no excitement.
The rivals were in a neck-and-neck race in the first six minutes. A minute and a half before the first break, the score was 2:2. Olympiacos netted two goals in the last 91 seconds of the first quarter, and added two by the middle of the second and jumped to a 6:2 lead. Nikolaidis broke that series with an action goal for 3:6. However, Olympiacos produced a new 4:0 run. Early in the fourth, the hosts went to 10:3. There was no way back for Vouliagmeni.
Both teams will start the playoffs in the 2nd round (quarterfinals).
Apollon, led by Nikola Bogdanovic, beat Panathinaikos and confirmed 3rd place.
Panionios beat PAOK 17:13. Panionios needed a point to keep 4th place, while PAOK had to win to keep a chance of climbing to 4th position. At halftime, the sides were tied (6:6). PAOK scored the first goal in the second half, and took a 7:6 lead. However, Panionios dominated after that and recorded a 17:13 win to cement 4th place.
PAOK’s loss was a piece of happy news for Peristeri, which beat Ethnikos 13:10. Peristeri caught up with PAOK in points, but it has a better score in head-to-head encounters and climbed to 5th place.
In the 1st round of the playoffs, Apollon will play against PAOK, and Panionios will meet Peristeri. The teams ranked 7th and 8th (Panathinaikos and Ethnikos) will play against the top two teams from the G2 group. A draw will determine the pairs.
