Budapest water polo fans had an opportunity to enjoy two big derbies in the famous “Komjadi pool” today.
Those were encounters between the clubs ranked from 1st to 4th place in the Hungarian League. The Champions League teams collected points in both games.
OSC beat Vasas 9:7 and returned to 2nd place, pushing Vasas to 3rd position.
Less than an hour after the end of that game, the duel between the league-leader Ferencvaros and 4th-placed Szolnok started. Ferencvaros recorded a convincing 9:4 victory, but the favorite needed a lot of time to break Szolnok’s resistance.
