It’s no coincidence that the city has been chosen to play host to yet another major international tournament, with the World League, World Cup, and U19 European Championships already played here in the last year. A beautiful city filled with an impassioned water polo community, Podgorica is the perfect setting for international competition.

Skaline Medieval Fortress: If you’re looking for a quick break from the action in the pool, take a leisurely stroll to the nearby Medieval Fortress. The fortress is known as the ‘Skaline’ to locals due to its distinctive staircase walkway, and is a less than 5 minute walk from the pool.

Plantaže and Wineries: For the lovers of wine and beautiful views alike, the Plantaze winery is just a 15 minutes drive away. The vineyard in Plantaze is the biggest in Europe, with a capacity of over 33 million litres. You’ll need to buy tickets in advance, but it’s well worth it!
