There were no surprising results in the last round of the regular season of the Dutch Eredivisie. Therefore there were no ups and downs in the standings.
GZC Donk and ZV De Zaan secured 1st and 2nd place, respectively, before the last round. The third place was in question. But everything stayed the same compared to the previous week. Polar Bears easily beat De Ham to keep 3rd place. AZC will enter the playoffs from 4th, UZSC from 5th place, etc.

Before the last round, Polar Bears, AZC, and UZSC had chances of reaching 3rd place.
None of the teams had a demanding task in the last round, and none of the three made a mistake, so the standings haven’t changed.
Polar Bears hosted De Ham and recorded a 16:10 victory.
Already after an 8:3 first half, it was clear that De Ham couldn’t make a surprise. Before the final period, the Ede-based team had a 13:5 lead. After that, it slowed in the last eight minutes.
Fourth-placed AZC is one point behind Polar Bears. AZC didn’t care much about the defense in the game against the bottom-placed De Linge/PCG, but the Alphen team’s win was never in danger. In the end, AZC recorded an 11-goal victory in a 39-goal game (25:14).
After a slow start, UZSC beat ZPB H&L Productions convincingly (12:5).
Two teams were contenders for 8th place before the 22nd matchday. Reigning champion Het Ravijn was in 8th place with three points more than ZPC Amersfoort. These two teams faced off last weekend. Still, ZPC Amersfoort had a mountain to climb. Het Ravijn beat Amersfoort by six goals in the first half of the season, so ZPC needed a 7-goal victory to reach the playoffs. The game was an even contest, but ZPC wasn’t close to a 7-goal win. In the end, Het Ravijn narrowly beat the rival (16:15) and confirmed 8th place.
GZC Donk didn’t do its best, but it beat PSV (11:9). ZV De Zaan finished the regular season with a 13:7 victory over ZVL-1886 Center.
De Linge/PCG, which didn’t win a single point, has been relegated to the lower league. De Ham will play in the relegation playoffs. ZPC Amersfoort and PSV finished the season.
