PSV caused a big surprise in the Dutch League last weekend.
The Eindhoven-based team, which had only six points before the 12th round, defeated UZSC, one of the contenders for a spot among the top four teams.
Three teams share 1st place at this moment. GZC Donk, AZC and Polar Bears won 29 points each, but GZC played one match fewer.

UZSC started well in the match against PSV, and earned an early 1:0. However, PSV dominated the second quarter and entered the second half leading 6:2. The hosts added two goals in the third period for a huge 8:2 lead. UZSC started climbing back, but it was too late. The visitors couldn’t catch up with PSV, which took points with a 9:8 victory.
GZC Donk continued its winning streak by trashing De Ham (15:8).
AZC and Polar Bears won two matches each last week.
AZC started the week with a home game against ZVL-1886 Center. The visitors led 7:6 at halftime. Still, AZC was excellent in the third period and built a 12:9 advantage. ZVL reduced the gap to two in the final eight minutes (11:13).
After beating ZVL, the team from Alphen welcomed ZPB H&L Productions. AZC built an advantage step-by-step and collected the points with a 10:6 win.
Polar Bears collected six points with two convincing wins – over Het Ravijn (10:5) and De Linge/PCG (17:8).
The encounter between ZPC Amersfoort and ZVL-1886 Center was a festival of goals. After the first three periods, the teams were tied – 12:12. Both defenses weakened additionally in the fourth quarter, but ZVL’s attack worked better. The visitors scored eight, conceding four goals for a 20:16 victory.
