The new season of the Regional League will start in January, the League Board decided.
The competition format has been modified because of the reasons caused by the pandemic, as we already reported.
Twelve teams will take part in the league, which will be held in two stages, the Regional League announced.
In the first stage, 12 teams will play in two groups. The composition of the groups has been determined according to the standings in the 2019/20 season.
The group stage (semifinal stage) will be held in Belgrade and Dubrovnik in January (14 – 17). The semifinal groups will be round-robin tournaments. Each club will meet all other teams (five rounds).
The top two ranked sides from each group will advance to the Final Four (Zagreb, March 26 – 27)
