In the latest developments of the Italian women’s water polo league, Roma has secured their spot in the finals with a convincing victory over Trieste, winning 7-21 in the second leg of the semifinals. Meanwhile, Plebiscito has made a comeback by winning against Ekipe with a score of 9-11, resulting in a 1-1 tie in the series. In the playout, Florentia claimed an important victory over Brizz with a score of 10-7.

In a thrilling water polo match, Plebiscito emerged victorious against Ekipe with a final score of 9-11 and took a tie in the semifinal series 1-1. The first period was a high-scoring affair with a total of nine goals, with Plebiscito taking a narrow lead of 4-5. In the second period, Plebiscito managed to extend their lead to two goals (4-6) with a goal from Casson. However, Ekipe fought back with two quick goals to level the scores at 6-6. But Plebiscito managed to take the lead again with a goal from Meggiato. The third period was equally thrilling as both teams scored three goals each, leaving the score at 9-10 going into the final period. In the fourth period, both teams only managed to score one goal each, but Millo’s goal in the 29th minute secured the victory for Plebiscito.

Roma dominated their match against Trieste in the semi-finals, securing an easy victory with a final score of 7-21. Although Trieste started strong, leading 2-1 at the beginning of the game, Roma quickly gained momentum and went on a 7-point streak, taking the lead 2-8. Throughout the first half, Roma continued to widen the gap, outscoring Trieste by 9 goals to end the half with a comfortable lead of 4-13. In the second half, Roma continued their strong performance, scoring 8 more goals and only allowing Trieste to score 3, resulting in the final score of 7-21. Roma’s impressive performance secured their spot in the finals.

Florentia claimed victory over Brizz in a water polo match with a final score of 10-7 in the first game of the playout. The visitors managed to take the lead twice in the first quarter, with the score at 0-1 and 1-2, but the first quarter ended in a 2-2 tie. In the second quarter, Brizz managed to take a two-goal lead, with the score at 2-4 at halftime. However, Florentia made a comeback in the 22nd minute and managed to level the score at 5-5. Until the end of the third period, both teams managed to score one goal each in the third period for 6-6. In the last eight minutes of the game, Florentia managed to score three goals in a row, making it impossible for Brizz to catch up. The final score was 10-7 in favor of Florentia.
