However, Trieste quickly retaliated, unleashing an impressive series of four goals, turning the score in their favour to 3-6. With their relentless pursuit, the visitors continued to build on their advantage, reaching 5-9 by the end of the third period. Showing determination, Savona’s Guidi scored a crucial goal in the 29th minute, narrowing the gap to 9-10. However, Trieste managed to hold on to their lead, showcasing defensive prowess and securing the victory with a final score of 9-10.

The third period saw an equal exchange, with both teams scoring two goals, maintaining a tense atmosphere at 6-7. At the 28th-minute mark, the hosts launched an impressive offensive, securing three consecutive goals and establishing a 9-7 advantage. Quinto secured and solidified their triumph with a final score of 10-8.

In the second period, both teams demonstrated offensive prowess, scoring three goals each to bring the score to a thrilling 5-7. The third period saw Salerno extending their lead, displaying exceptional skill and determination to increase their advantage to 6-9. In the 25th minute, Barroso Maccaro’s goal further solidified Salerno’s position, elevating the score to 6-10. Despite the odds stacked against them, Anzio fought back fiercely. They managed to find the net twice in the remaining time. However, their valiant efforts were not enough to overturn Salerno’s lead, resulting in a final score of 8-10.
