An encounter between Posillipo and Savona, played in Naples this afternoon, was the 11th-round derby of the Italian League. However, the big match of the weekend lacked excitement.

The visitors produced an 8:0 run and built a 9:2 lead early in the third quarter. Savona continued to dominate, ultimately widening the margin to nine goals. Young Hungarian Oliver Leinweber shone for Savona, scoring five goals, while teammates Figlioli and Occhione contributed three goals each.
