Nemanja Vico, Serbia’s center-forward has tested positive for coronavirus, the Water Polo Federation of Serbia announced today.
Because of that, the national team of Serbia, which has been preparing in Belgrade since May 25, stopped all the planned activities.
Vico, who plays for the Italian club Trieste, was tested for the first time two weeks ago, because of the contact with a potentially infected person. The test was negative. A few days ago, he was tested again because of the high body temperature. This time, the result of the test was positive. Vico feels well now, his body temperature is normal, but he must be isolated in quarantine for two weeks.
All players of the national team were tested today. The Water Polo Federation of Serbia will inform the public about the results of the tests.
