South American Championships: Argentina upsets Brazil to complete group stage with perfect record

The group phase of the South American Championships in Buenos Aires was completed with a quite surprising result.

Argentina beat Brazil (9:7) in the last match of the men’s group stage. This game was the derby, but the Brazilians were the favorites.

Unfortunately, the problems with the coronavirus pandemic affected the tournament. Peru men and both teams of Chile had to withdraw from the tournament before the sixth round because some of their players tested positive for COVID-19.
