Successful weekend for OSC Potsdam and White Sharks

Another busy weekend is behind German clubs. Eight matches were played on Saturday and Sunday.

Champions League clubs Spandau 04 and Waspo Hannover beat their respective opponents with ease.

OSC Potsdam collected valuable 4 points in their race towards the playoffs.

White Sharks Hannover also posted two wins. These victories might be crucial in their efforts to reach at least the 6th place, which will secure them an appearance in the playoffs and the avoiding the relegation round

Spandau 04 – SG Neukolln 21:9 (8:1, 5:4, 4:2, 4:2)

Spandau demolished Neukolln 21:9 on Sunday, while it easily beat ASC Duisburg a day earlier 17:10. Waspo Hannover also had no problems in both matches. Firstly, the Hannover-based team blew away Esslingen 27:5, and after that, they taught a lesson to Ludwigsburg 20:7.

OSC Potsdam keeps the 3rd place with two important wins. In the eight round, OSC Potsdam defeated Neukolln, as it was expected – 19:12. But, on Sunday OSC had a much harder task. The team from Potsdam hosted ASC Duisburg. There were a lot of twists and turns in this match. More than 20 goals were scored in the first half. Before the third period, Duisburg led 11:10. But, Potsdam took control in the second half and celebrated an 18:16 victory.

White Sharks Hannover faced Esslingen and Ludwigsburg. In both matches, White Sharks recorded wins with a 1-goal margin (13:12 over Ludwigsburg and 9:8 over Esslingen), which was enough for them to climb into the fourth place. White Sharks have collected 8 points, one more than ASC Duisburg, despite they have played two matches less than Duisburg.
