Two matches were open until the very end.
The surprise of the day happened in Szeged. KSI, the newcomer to the First League, and home team Szeged shared the points – 10:10. This is the first point in this season for KSI, which was very close to a victory in Szeged.
BVSC beat Szentes (10:9) thanks to a last-gasp goal.
Honved earned a solid 10:7 victory over Eger, while Ferencvaros and Szolnok recorded comfortable wins.

KSI and Szeged shared the points in Szeged. The hosts should be happier with the draw because KSI led throughout the match. The visitors earned an early 3:0 lead.In the second quarter, KSI had a 4-goal advantage (8:4, 9:5). Szeged cut the deficit to one in the 23rd minute (8:9). Szepfalvi gave KSI a 10:8 scoring his 4th goal 26 seconds before the last break. But, Kurti responded for 9:10 in Szeged’s last attack in the third period. Bobis leveled at 10:10 in the 30th minute and saved a point for the hosts.
Ferencvaros started well against Kaposvar. The title-holder scored four and conceded only one goal in the first quarter. However, Kaposvar came close before the middle break (4:5). Ferencvaros opened the second half with eight unanswered goals to earn a huge 13:4 advantage and secure three points.
Honved defeated Eger. The Budapest-based team opened the game with a 4:1 lead. Eger came close (3:4). Still, Honved replied with a 3:0 run, earned a 7:3 advantage (19th minute) and didn’t let Eger come back.
BVSC beat Szentes in a game in which both teams had ups and downs. BVSC led 4:1. However, Szentes didn’t surrender. It scored five goals in a row to earn a 6:4 advantage. Before the final quarter, the sides were tied at 7:7. BVSC took an 8:7 and 9:8 lead in the fourth quarter. Szentes leveled on both occasions. Still, BVSC took all three points. Matyas Meszaros scored for 10:9 with just eight seconds to go. After that, Szentes couldn’t equalize.
Szolnok played excellently in defense in Miskolc and recorded a 9:2 victory. Miskolc scored its second goal in the 15th minute (2:4). Vamosi gave Szolnok a 5:2 advantage in the dying seconds of the first half. The visitors added four goals in the following 16 minutes.
