There weren’t many games in Hungary today. Only two matches were played. One of the two games was a derby of the 7th round. Szolnok defeated UVSE 14:8 on home soil.

Szolnok was a favorite in the game against UVSE. But the young side from Budapest didn’t enter the match without any chance, since it has surprised a few experienced teams in the previous rounds.
UVSE kept up with the hosts for two quarters. After 2:2, Szolnok was always ahead. But the distance between the sides wasn’t significant during the first two quarters. At halftime, Szolnok led 5:3. Early in the third period, UVSE cut the deficit (4:5). But, shortly after that, Szolnok increased its lead to three (7:4), while it entered the last period with a substantial 11:6 advantage. UVSE wasn’t able to come back and suffered its first loss in the 2020/21 Hungarian League.
Szolnok caught Ferencvaros in points. Each of the two teams collected 12 points in four games.
KSI, the newcomer to the First League, is still with no points. KSI hosted BVSC and started pretty well. The hosts led 4:2 in the 6th minute. But, BVSC answered with seven goals in a row and earned a 9:4 advantage by the middle of the second period. Until the end, the visitors doubled the difference (20:10).
