Roser Tarragó, a former member of the Spanish national team and a double Olympic silver medallist, has signed for Barceloneta.
At 29 years old, Tarragó has played for a number of top clubs in Spain and further afield, including: CN Mataro, CE Mediterrani, Cal Bears, Drummoyne Devils and most recently, Tenerife Echeyde.
Aside from the Olympic successes with Spain at the London 2012 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Tarragó has won gold with Spain in the 2013 World Championships and two silver medals at the European Championships in 2014 and 2020.
Marc Comas and his young promising CNAB have scored a major victory with the signing, acquiring a player of exceptional skill and experience, who can contribute in a variety of positions.
Barceloneta struggled to make an impact last season in their first season in the Division de Honor, but they achieved their main goal of staying in the division. Tarragó is the third summer signing for the Barceloneta Women’s team, alongside Isabel Piralkova (CN Mataro) and Julia Cereijo (Mediterrani).
