This weekend, the highlight was Tenerifeβs remarkable comeback. The Canary Islanders faced Rubi in an away match. The hosts held a significant lead of 8:1 deep into the second quarter. Even midway through the third period, Rubi maintained a solid advantage β 9:4. However, Tenerife made a great comeback, scoring seven unanswered goals in the final 11 minutes to secure an 11:9 victory. Luis Araya led Tenerife with four goals, while Rubiβs Sergi Pina Vega scored five times.
Fourth-placed Terrassa defeated Real Canoe (13:7), with four goals from Gerard Cuacos Pena, to confirm its spot in the semifinals of the playoffs.
Mataro trashed Sant Andreu 11:4.
Catalunya climbed to 7th place after defeating Mediterrani 14:11. Catalunya got off to a flying start and took an opening 6:0 lead. Mediterrani couldnβt come back .
