Most of the games of the Spanish League 5th round were one-sided contests. The only thrilling game was an encounter in Madrid, where Real Canoe hosted Terrassa. The visitors came back from three goals down and recorded a 7:6 victory.

Real Canoe and Terrassa scored three goals each in the first half of the game in Madrid. Real got off to a flying start in the third quarter. The hosts netted three unanswered goals and went into the final quarter with a nice 6:3 advantage. But, Real’s very good defense disappeared in the fourth period. Terrassa started coming back. The visitors equalized in the middle of this quarter (6:6). In the 31st minute, Alberto Barroso found the net for the final score. Terrassa celebrated a 7:6 victory.
Mediterrani posted an easy away victory over Catalunya (11:4).
The visitors returned home empty-handed after other matches.
Barceloneta continued its winning streak. The champion ran over Sant Andreu 16:5. Australian Luke Anthony Pavillard, who arrived at Barceloneta recently, was unstoppable. He scored eight goals.
Barcelona and Sabadell had easy tasks against Navarra and Rubi respectively. Both teams recorded wins with the same result – 18:6.
Mataro keeps up with the leading trio (Barceloneta, Sabadell, Barcelona). It beat Tenerife 12:6 and remains in 4th place.
