Favorites made no mistake in the matches of the regular round of the Dutch Menβs League last weekend. There were no close contests.
AZC is still atop the table, with six wins and one draw. The leader beat De Lienge/PSG with ease last weekend (13:6).
Reigning champion Het Ravijn finally ended its long losing streak.

AZC opened the game against De Lienge/PSG with a 6:0 first half. In the third period, it added two unanswered goals to earn an 8:0 lead. After that, the hosts relaxed, and De Lienge/PSG reduced the gap to seven goals (13:6)
ZPB H&L Productions is unbeaten, as well as AZC, but it played one match fewer. ZPB beat UZSC easier than expected for its 5th victory. The game was practically decided after the first half. ZPB was 8:2 up at halftime, and the Utrecht-based team couldnβt find the way back. At the end of the match, ZPB recorded a 14:9 win.
Utrechtβs loss helped Polar Bears climb to 3rd place. Polar Bears, led by Lars ten Broek and Sam Kunz, earned an away 15:8 win over De Ham. Like AZC and ZPB, Polar Bears secured a solid advantage in the first half. The visitors entered the second half with a 7:3 advantage.
Reigning champion Het Ravijn recorded its only second victory in the season ‘ the first after five consecutive losses in the domestic competitions (four in the league and one in the Super Cup). The title holder played against ZPC Amersfoort. After a balanced first quarter (3:3), Het Ravijn dominated the middle two periods and built a 13:7 advantage before the final quarter. It extended the margin to seven (17:10) in the last eight minutes.
GZC Donk took a terrible start in the game against PSV. The Eindhoven-based side led 3:1 and 6:2 GZC Donk halved the deficit (4:6), but PSV replied with its seventh goal to gain a 3-goal advantage (7:4). However, the visitorsβ joy didnβt last for long. GZC Donk netted eight unanswered goals and went to 12:7, which determined the outcome. GZC Donk celebrated a 15:11 victory.
ZV De Zaan defeated ZVL-1886 Center (16:10) and caught up with the rival in points. Both teams have four victories now.
