Three teams sharing 1st to 3rd place in the Spanish League achieved double-digit wins in the 9th round.
Title-holder Barceloneta showcased its dominance with a 24:5 victory over Caballa, where Biel Gomilla scored six goals.
Sabadell, the only Spanish club that suffered a loss in the European cups this week, bounced back from a defeat to Waspo Hannover. It beat Encinas de Boadilla 22:12. Federico Panerai and Alberto Barroso made the difference, scoring five goals each.
In the second half of the season, Sabadell will play in the Euro Cup eighth-finals, where Barcelona and Terrassa advanced through the Group Stage.
Mart van den Weijden found the net five times to help Barcelona beat Rubi 18:8.
After an important win over Solaris in the Euro Cup Group, Terrassa recorded another away win, defeating Sant Andreu 15:12. Ignasi Bargallo was the top scorer with six goals.
Fourth-placed Mataro didn’t have an easy task in the match against Tenerife. Still, it collected three points, with a narrow 11:10 win. Lluc Bertran contributed five goals.
