Club Level Supremacy
The 2023/24 season saw Mandic spearhead FTC Telekom to a remarkable treble. His 53 goals and 17 assists in domestic competition propelled the team to both Hungarian League and Cup victories. The crowning achievement came in the Champions League, where his masterclass performance in the final against Pro Recco – including 4 crucial goals and a game-defining block in the closing moments – secured European glory for the Budapest-based club.
Unprecedented Voting Dominance
The magnitude of Mandic’s achievements is reflected in the voting margins. His commanding 243 points far exceeded his closest challenger, Croatia’s Loren Fatovic (78 points), while Team USA’s Ben Hallock and Serbian captain Nikola Jaksic shared third place with 72 points each.
