Margarita Plevritou, the eldest of the Plevritou sisters, serves as captain for both Olympiacos, one of Europe’s most successful water polo clubs, and the Greek national team. This year, she led Greece to a bronze medal at the European Championship in Eindhoven, securing their qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Additionally, under her leadership, Olympiacos reached the final of the LEN Women’s Euro League, where they were defeated by CN Sabadell.
Plevritou’s exceptional leadership and skill continue to be instrumental in her teams’ successes on both national and international stages.
