Zivko Gocic’s playing career is adorned with nearly every major international gold medal, as he captained Serbia to triumphs at the Olympics, World Championships, European Championships, and more.
After retiring in 2018, just a year after securing the Champions League and European Super Cup titles with Szolnok, Gocic transitioned into coaching at the same club. In this new role, he completed the one missing accolade from his playing days by leading Szolnok to victory in the 2021 LEN Euro Cup. That same season, he made history as the first non-Hungarian coach to win the Hungarian Championship.
Now in his second year at Novi Beograd, Gocic continues to prove his exceptional ability to instill a winning mindset, both in and out of the water.
