“I selected only my own players because I know exactly how much work they put in every single day to achieve success. I’m lucky to have a group like this, closing the year by winning everything with FTC. There were also outstanding performances in 2025 from players like Álvaro Granados, Unai Aguirre and Bernat Sanahuja, but I think I’m allowed to be biased towards my own team. Leaving out Gergő Fekete and Vendel Vigvári was extremely difficult, since both grew into world-class performers this season.”
Soma Vogel
He battled through a brutally tough season because of injuries, but always pulled himself together for the finals and delivered massive leadership as captain. In the biggest moments — the Champions League Final and the Super Cup against Pro Recco — he produced his absolute best when it mattered most.
Dusan Mandic
This year his impact wasn’t measured in goals like last season, when he won everything, became Olympic champion and the best player in the world. But his presence brought incredible calm to the team, and he finished with the highest efficiency index of the entire season.
Márton Vámos
He returned to a Champions League–winning team and showed his character immediately — fitting in seamlessly even alongside the world’s best left-hander, Mandic. He delivered standout performances in both defense and attack. With Vámos, FTC didn’t just maintain its level our game actually took a step forward with him.
Edoardo Di Somma
A true all-rounder who can play any position. He does every unglamorous task without hesitation, and does it with joy. He brought enormous energy to the team all season long, and his attitude is infectious. He lifts everyone around him.
Miguel De Toro
With him, FTC became even stronger in the physical battle for position. His résumé speaks for itself: in 2025 he won every possible trophy not only with his club but also with his national team. World Championship and World Cup included. No one else in the world achieved that this year.
Stylianos Argyropoulos
He has been at FTC since 2022, but this was his most complete and consistent season yet. Always a great player, but now he reached a new level. He barely had a weak match all year. One of the most dangerous scorers in the Champions League, and he carried that form into the World Championship, literally putting Greece on his back.
Krisztián Manhercz — MVP
Just like Vámos, he arrived to join the defending Champions League winners and injected new spark into the team. Manhercz is the MVP because in the most important games of the season — the Champions League final, the Hungarian League final and the Hungarian Cup final — he was the true Game Changer.
