The transfer window is finally over for Brescia. Vincenzo Renzuto Iodice, the 2019 World champion with Italy, said “yes” to Brescia and he will sign a contract today, waterpoloitaly.com published.
Renzuto started a career in Posillipo. He departed the Naples-based club in 2017, and played for Jug Dubrovnik during the 2017/18 season. Renzuto returned to Italy in 2018, and joined Recco. He left the Italian champion in May.
Renzuto and Brescia started the negotiations in May, but they didn’t reach an agreement. The talks were renewed a few weeks ago, and they have been finished successfully.
Posillipo aimed to bring Renzuto back, but he decided to accept Brescia’s offer. Brescia will battle for trophies, not just in Italy, but on the European stage in the next season. Several excellent players arrived in the club.
