The second LEN Womenβs European U15 Championship has been playing in Szentes (Hungary).
Twelve teams were in the draw, but, meanwhile, three have withdrawn, and nine teams arrived in Szentes.
The teams were split into two groups in the preliminary stage. Spain completed the competition in Group A with a perfect record. Host Hungary did the same in Group B

Group A
Spain, the winner of the 2019 U15 Womenβs European Championship title, was too strong for all rivals in Group A. The Spaniards convincingly defeated the Netherlands, Italy, Israel, and Serbia.
Italy finished 2nd. Israel edged out the Netherlands in the last round and secured 3rd place. The Netherlands, which took 4th place, also goes to the quarterfinals. Winless Serbia finished the tournament.

Four teams played in Group B, and all four advanced to the quarterfinals.
Hungary finished atop. The hosts recorded convincing wins over Greece and Croatia in the first two rounds and defeated Russia in the derby on the last day of the group stage (15:8).
Russia is in 2nd, Greece in 3rd, and Croatia in 4th place.
