Because of the qualifications for the European Championships the men in the Dutch league didn’t play. For the women there were only three matches. The favorites made no mistake.
With the play-offs in sight the top-3 in the Eredivisie Women is becoming increasingly clear. Also last Saturday they didn’t suffer any damage. Leader De Zaan made the difference against De Ham in the first half when the home team was put at 1-8.
Polar Bears won by clear numbers against ZVL-1886: 4-12. This was mainly due to Polar Bear’s effectiveness during man-up situations. No fewer than nine of the twelve goals from Polar Bears were made from a powerplay. The strong ZVL-goalkeeper Janieke Oosting couldn’t compete with that.
UZSC won in Nijverdal against Het Ravijn (6-13). In the first period, the home team was still equivalent to the number 3 in the ranking, but when UZSC stepped up its game in the second period, the difference quickly became clear.
