Barceloneta are refreshing their squad this summer with key young Spanish prospects.
With key players such as Alberto Munarriz and Marc Larumbe (both to Marseille), and Miguel de Toro (to FTC) likely to depart, and Felipe Perrone's retirement prospects in the balance, Barceloneta are wasting no time in making key replacements.
The keystone signing is Hungarian superstar Vince Vigvari, who arrives from OSC.
However, according to sources close to the club, CNAB is also looking closer to home to secure the club's future, with the signings of Marc Valls and Biel Gomila from Barcelona and Catalunya, respectively.
Marc Valls Ferrer has been a key player for Barcelona since his senior debut in 2018. The 20-year-old attacker has impressed with the Spanish junior national team at recent World and European Championships (silver in Belgrade and Podgorica, both in 2022) and is currently the Spanish league's third top goal-scorer this season with 70 goals in 25 games (2.8 goals per game).
Biel Gomila, who has only just finished high school, will play deputy to Roger Tahull, who recently extended his contract with the club. The 18-year-old featured as the youngest member of David Martin's 15-player squad that won the European Championships in January.
