UVSE fans create scenography in honor of Tibor Benedek

Water polo lovers in Hungary continue to pay honor to legendary Tibor Benedek, who passed away in June.

Benedek finished his water polo career, as a coach of UVSE, the club which is the successor of Ujpesti, where Benedek achieved great successes as a player.

We already reported that the club had changed its crest in memory of Benedek, by adding his initials B.T. and the number 8 (the cap he wore).

UVSE fans also made their contribution.

Before yesterday’s match of the Hungarian Cup for ladies (UVSE – Ferencvaros 16:10), fans spread a gigantic Benedek’s picture, along with UVSE’s and Hungary’s flag and a message: “The legend, always with us.”
