OSC started slowly against UVSE. A young team of UVSE had a 5:3 advantage at halftime. OSC opened the second half with a 5:0 series. The favorite earned an 8:5 lead. From that point on, the visitors’ victory wasn’t in danger.
Szolnok beat Szentes twice in three days. On Friday, Szolnok defeated Szentes in the postponed match of the Hungarian Cup quarterfinals (18:8) and confirmed a spot in the semis, after a 22:2 win in the 1st leg. Today, Szolnok and Szentes faced off in the match of the national league. The reigning champion recorded another easy win (17:6).
Vasas defeated BVSC in the derby of the 4th round. Vasas controlled the match. BVSC equalized twice in the early stage of the game (1:1, 2:2). In the middle of the second period, BVSC trailed 4:5. Then, Bence Batori scored two back-to-back goals. Vasas went to 7:4 and maintained the difference until the final buzzer.
Ferencvaros downed Honved 14:7. Szilard Jansik and Vendel Vigvari found the net four times both.
