This summer, Chus Martin finished his very successful mission as head coach of Barceloneta after eight years. In that period, Martin won numerous trophies, including the 2014 Champions League Title. This June, after reaching the 4th place at the 2021 Champions League Final Eight, he said goodbye to Barceloneta.
Martin announced that he would leave the Spanish champion a few months prior to the tournament and said he needed a change after 42 years spent at the club both as a player and coach.

Filipovic won the LEN Euro Cup with Szolnok, scoring eight goals in the final matches. His goal in the Olympic semifinal against Spain was decisive for the outcome of that game and sent Serbia to the final.
3. Angelos Vlachopoulos (GRE)

He had a fantastic season with Brescia, won the Italian league, and 3rd place in the Champions League. At the end of the summer, he won silver at the Olympics, the first-ever Olympic medal for the Greek male water polo team.
4. Ben Hallock (USA)
USA National Player | Clubs: Pro Recco | Position: Center-forward
In my opinion, he has been the best center-forward in the world this year. I think Hallock played very well in the Champions League with Pro Recco and at the Olympic Games with the USA.
5. Nikola Jaksic (SRB)
Serbian National Player | Club: Ferencvaros / Novi Beograd | Position: Centre-back
A complete player of excellent class. He can play in every position. Jaksic played very well in the Champions League with Ferencvaros and won his second Olympic gold with Serbia.
